What is your capacity?

Our venue site  accommodates up to 100  guests, including the wedding party.

How far in advance does your venue book dates?

We book events up to 24 months in advance.

When can we have our wedding rehearsal?

Based on the wedding package selected, your reservation fee includes the use of the Estate on Friday for 4 hours between the time frame of 8am-8pm.

We want to bring in our own alcohol.  Is this allowed?

We do allow outside unopened alcoholic beverages on the premises; however, the lessee is responsible for bringing those onsite. No other alcohol may be brought by guests. 

The host must provide proof of a certificate of liability insurance listing The Cunningham Estate as the Certificate Holder for a minimum of $1,000,000,. All state and local alcoholic beverage laws and ordinances must be followed while on the premises. 

What is required to reserve a date? 

In order to reserve your wedding date we do require a non-refundable deposit of $1,000. All invoices and balances must be paid in full 30 days prior to the event date.
A payment schedule is set up to pay the balance.  

What types of payment do you accept?

The preferred method of payment is cashier’s check, check, money order, or cash but credit cards are accepted. Less than thirty (30) days prior to the event, no personal or business checks are accepted.

Are there any nearby hotel accommodations for my guests?

We are located just a short distance from Kannapolis, Concord, and Charlotte so there are many lodging options available for  your guests. Onsite accommodations can be added to your package.

Can I bring in my own decorations and set up things for my wedding ahead of time?

Based on the selected wedding package, the fee includes 4 hours of your choice on Friday from 8am-8pm for decorating and rehearsal. You may bring your own decor or use the venue decor partner depending on the package selected.

Does the staff at The Cunningham Estate set up and break down tables and chairs?

The tables and chairs are set up when you arrive on Friday and we also take care of cleaning  up.

Do you book more than one event day? 

No, The Estate does not book multiple events in one day.

We allocate only one wedding per Saturday and the venue is exclusive to the wedding party  on Friday and Saturday.

May I use my own vendors?

You are able to hire all of your own vendors. We do require the Caterers and DJs to have liability insurance and the bartenders must have insurance in addition to a bartending license. We will require them to add us as a Certificate Holder for the day of the event. 

We are able to provide you with a list of our preferred vendors as well.
